My name is Mr Jonathan Park and I am a consultant ophthalmic surgeon specialising in cataract surgery, medical retina and surgical retina. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the UK.  Since 2015, I have worked as a permanent consultant at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton and the Nuffield Health, Taunton. 

I provide a range of treatments, with the most common ones being bespoke cataract surgery with the option of premium lens implants, YAG laser capsulotomy, intra-vitreal injections and vitrectomy surgery.

Retinal treatments

I offer private retinal treatments for both medical and surgical retinal problems.  

This includes intra-vitreal eye injections for AMD (age related macular degeneration), diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.  As a retinal surgeon, I provide retinal surgery (vitrectomy) and laser for a wide range of retinal diseases.
